Artificial articulation with anthropomorphic dexterity

Monday, August 30, 2004

Ok, so I'm back in the verdant land of tenable internet connections. I refugee from Guantanamo Bay, or at least friendly Lagos, Nigeria. So for those of you who haven't been there or heard me mouth off on the subject, what's Nigeria like?

Please accept humbly the following epithets, contradictory though they may be: filthy, warm, welcoming, sickening, organic, twisted, flat, wet, languid.

This time I bought no hat, I ate little local food, and I went to but one nightspot. Ok, maybe three. What I did do is convince some random Nigerians to drive me out into the country and walk me up a mountain. The town was called Erini-Jesha, in Oshu province, and it's beautiful.

Paradise?

Who'da thunk it?
